Eric Paulsen is the classic example of this. He certainly is patient. He spent 11 years of his life bringing back a 42′ 1968 Grand Banks back from the dead.

Now mind you, a lot of people buy an older fiberglass boat that needs some work. Maybe a few systems need updated or some cosmetic work – but NOTHING even comes close to the commitment required of a wood boat.
