CANNES PREMIERE Does the New Fairline 33 Measure Up?
Yes. That was a trick question. Fairline comes from a good lineage of boats. Problem is that they set a high standard for themselves.
Keep in mind that this boat will most likely land in the U.S. for about a half million after VAT, or whatever taxes will be imposed (ARGH). That said, you can’t help but compare this to other boats many times the cost. And that’s not fair.
The F//Line 33 appears to be an exceptional offering. If you can’t wait – head to Cannes. If your Platinum card is max’d out for travel or you’re too busy working your butt off, check it out state-side in 2020. I suspect preorders will be faster than its 45 knot WOT.
